The Somali regional government announced that a high delegation led by the Somali regional state and the FDRE government is discussing with the diaspora in Minnesota.

In their discussion, following the peace in the region, the success of infrastructure, investment and other sectors were explained.

In this way 63 woredas and kebeles have 24 hours electricity service, more than 150 water projects and 8 dams have been built in rural areas with water problems.

The region which had 9 hospitals for three decades has reached 18 in a short period of time and it is shown that the agricultural sector has also been successful.

Considering the convenient situation in the region, it has been reported that investors are spending their wages in real estate, flour factories, animal slaughter, bottled water factories and hotels.

The diaspora has been asked to invest as there are convenient investment options in Ethiopia.
